the faceless card wins

The team leaders card eked out the win. Six votes to four for Ed Whitson.  After today's battle there will be no more battles until Saturday.  I am declaring a truce in battles until December 26, 2020.

Up next is a battle between a starter, an outfielder and a closer for spot number eighty-two.

Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your assistance.

I wish Flair Showcase cards got more hobby love, so I am going with Brown

Going with the BUNT 16 card.

Merry Christmas! 🌲⛄

It's a shame that Brown only played with the Padres for one season... but oh what a season that was. He seemed untouchable that season... except that one game against Atlanta in the playoffs.

Anyways... Brown gets my vote.

I like the red parallel Yates from TSC but I have to vote for Brown as well.

Yates's strong show of emotion wins the day for me.

Not much of a Flair Showcase fan but Brown gets a nod over Kemp looking very weird in a Padres get-up.

Another tough choice for this spot as well, but I think my vote will go to the Kirby Yates card.

Look forward to more of these battles after Christmas. Have a joyous Christmas!

Voting for Yates today. I'm pretty sure bullpen guys aren't well-represented in most franken-binders.
