Not the master of suspense

Sterling Alex Hitchcock was the 1998 National League Championship Series.  After that though it was all downhill for the Padres as the Yankees swept them in 4 games in the World Series. He won a World Series ring three years later with the Yankees.  He played 13 years in the majors, 7 with the Yankees, 6 with  the Padres and 1 each with St. Louis and Seattle.  He played two different times with both the Padres and the Yankees. I got this Mothers Cookie card signed through the mail.

things might have been different in 98 if langston didn't get jobbed on a call by the ump during tino's ab.
