Benito Santiago won that battle convincingly. Eleven to seven. Up next is a battle of two pitchers for spot number one hundred eleven. Clayton Richard pitched in two different stints with the Padres, both as a starter and out of the bullpen. He will pick up some votes for being Michigan's number two quarterback behind Chad Henne. Bruce Hurst will always be remembered as a member of the Boston Red Sox.
Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your assistance.

I will go with the Bruce Hurst as the action shot is more interesting than the profile shot.
1964 Topps design has always been a favorite of mine, so I will go with the Richard
i agree with you about hurst, although he did havea couple of good years with the pads. i'll vote for him and his 1993 topps card.
I remember pulling that Hurst card from one of my first packs of cards. Voting for Bruce.
BRUUUUCE!
Hurst, an easy vote this time. That Richard is pretty darn dull.
I was all set to vote for Richard until you said he was a former Michigan quarterback. As a Buckeye, I just cannot do that so Hurst gets my vote.
Hmmm, junk wax Topps or the former Wolverine. I'm gonna GO BLUE with Clayton Richard!
Hurst is a nicer photo and a more memorable player, so he gets the vote.
Hurst because of his Red Sox days.
Bruce Hurst.
Hurst and the action shot gets my vote. Side story... about half the time you list these posts, I head over to COMC, type in the card number and filter down the results so that only Padres cards show up. Hurst is also card #111 in the 1992 Score set.
I prefer the Clayton Richard one. The 'action shot' feels a bit generic on the 93 card.
Action over inaction...Hurst for me.
Looks like I am in the minority, but I am going with Richard.
