Vacation and customs, page 4

This week my wife and I have been on vacation in Riddle, Oregon.  We are staying in a tiny house of 800 square feet.  Hanging on the wall are some custom cards I made for the owners of their dogs and horses.

Tom Harrison pitched in one game for the Kansas City Athletics in 1965.  He  pitched one inning and has career ERA of 9
Jay Franklin pitched in 3 games for the Padres in 1971 and finished with a career ERA of 6.35
Larry Yount credited with pitching in a MLB without ever facing a batter.  He hurt his elbow during his warmup pitches and was pulled from the game and never returned to the majors.
John Young played in two games for the Tigers in 1971, he got 2 hits, scored a run and is credited with an RBI.  He finished with a .500 BA
Herb Hutson pitched in 20 games for the Cubs in 1974.  He pitched 28.2 innings and finished with a 3.45 ERA
Willie Prall went 14.2 innings in the 3 games he pitched in 1975 for the Cubs.  He finished with an ERA of 8.59
Manny Seoane played in 1977 with Philly for 2 games and 7 games for the Cubs in 1978.  He pitched in 14.1 innings for the two teams and finished with a 5.65 ERA.  In 1982 he and another former MLB pitcher were charged with kidnapping and robbing two of the other pitchers cousins.  They each got 7 years of probation after pleading no contest.  The things you find researching for the back of cards.
Herman Segelke pitched in 4.1 innings in 3 games for the Cubbies in 1982.
Tom Grant appeared in 16 games for the 1983 Cubs.  He had 20 AB and had 3 hits and finished with a .150 BA.

Thanks for stopping by.

Larry Yount's phantom career is a famous and sad story. Of course, his little brother ended up having a better go of it.

Hope you and your wife are enjoying your vacation! A few years ago, I developed an interest in tiny homes. Even went through a phase where I thought I might build one in retirement.
