Custom cards, series 1, page 2


 It's a whole page of Minnesota Twins, Cards as I See Them, see anything of note.

Minnie Mendoza-played in 16 games for the Twins in 1970.  He got 16 ABs, 3 Hits, 2 Runs and 2 RBIs.  
Joe Bonikowski-pitched in 30 games for Minnesota in 1962. He had a record of 5-7 and an ERA of 3.88.
Steve Barber-pitched in 22 games for the Twins in 1970-1971.  He had a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 5.08.
Mark Wiley-pitched in 15 games for the Twins in 1975.  He had a record of 1-3 and an ERA of 6.05.  He made it back to the majors in 1978 with the Padres and Blue Jays.
Mike Poepping-appeared in 14 games for the Twins in 1975.  He hit .135 
Tom Lundstedt-played for the Cubs in a few games in 1973 and 74. He appeared in 18 games for the Twins in 1975.  He finished his career with a BA of .092
Pat Bourque-Minnesota was his last stop in the majors.  He played in 23 games for the team in 1974.
Mike Kinnunen-pitched in 23 games for the Twinkies in 1980. He would reappear in the majors and finish his career with the O's in 1986 and 87
Boomer Wells-played in 15 games for Minnesota in 1982 after playing in 32 games for the Jays in 1981.

Good stuff. Despite a couple Norwegian sounding names, it’s Poepping who is the local guy.

Looks like most of these guys played before my time. I went 0 for 9 in name recognition. Although it does look like I have an A's card of Pat Bourque in the collection.
