Padrograph #1210, Amos Otis. Amos Otis played seventeen seasons in the major leagues, playing fourteen years with the Royals, two with the Mets and one with the Pirates. He went to the All Star Game five times. He lead the American League with doubles twice and stolen bases once. After retiring in 1984 he coached for the Rockies and Padres. He was the Padres hitting coach from 1988-1990. I sent this to a private signing that Mr. Otis did recently.
Very cool. I remember Otis when he was with the Royals, but don't remember him coaching with the Padres. But I couldn't name of their current coaches either ;D

Nice card. I definitely remember Otis as a Royal, but he looks good in a Pads uni!.
