My wife went on a trip to see some of her family in Eugene, one of my cousins in Roseburg and her aunt in Coos Bay before coming home. While she was in Eugene she and one of her brothers went thrift store shopping and she picked up some albums for me. They were 99¢ each. To me this was the cream of the crop. It has Werewolves of London, Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner and Send Lawyers, Guns and Money along with the title track. It is one of my all time favorite albums.
He used to substitute for Paul Shaffer on Letterman once in a while. That's where I first saw him, anyway. Great artist; sad that he's no longer with us.

Your wife is awesome to think of you while shopping. Never heard of Zevon before... but I really love the Werewolves of London song.
I highly recommend his later album Sentimental Hygiene as well.
I discovered Zevon late but love him now. If you get a chance check out the book, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.
Or maybe you already have.
Great album!
