Benito Santiago won that battle convincingly. Eleven to seven. Up next is a battle of two pitchers for spot number one hundred eleven. Clayton Richard pitched in two different stints with the Padres, both as a starter and out of the bullpen. He will pick up some votes for being Michigan's number two quarterback behind Chad Henne. Bruce Hurst will always be remembered as a member of the Boston Red Sox.
I will go with the Bruce Hurst as the action shot is more interesting than the profile shot.

ReplyDeleteI was all set to vote for Richard until you said he was a former Michigan quarterback. As a Buckeye, I just cannot do that so Hurst gets my vote.

ReplyDeleteHurst and the action shot gets my vote. Side story... about half the time you list these posts, I head over to COMC, type in the card number and filter down the results so that only Padres cards show up. Hurst is also card #111 in the 1992 Score set.
