I am making progress on my Astronauts set with help from Hockey Card World in Canada. I want to thanks Topps for putting the number on the front of the cards and making it a size that is readable. I think both of these cards feature Gus Grissom.
This is the battle for spot number one hundred fifteen. El Nino already has two hundred sixty one cards for 2021 according to the trading card database today. Cal Quantrill has zero cards this year so far. Both of the players have fathers who were major leaguers. Tatis, Sr. has a record that I don't think will ever be broken.
Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your assistance.
I sense another blowout coming. Tatis an easy choice in this battle.
ReplyDeleteYup, Tatis for me.
ReplyDeleteTatis. Easily.
ReplyDeleteLove those astronaut cards. Very cool.
Love me some astronaut cards!!
ReplyDeleteI do like to find a reason to choose the underdog, but there's not much to go with on that card. Tatis it is. He looks pretty badass on that one.
ReplyDeleteTatis is going to annoy the hell out of me by September. So I'll be the lone Quantrill guy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Night Owl. Voting for Quantrill.
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Cal since kinda-action-chromey beats posed-non-chromey...?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to vote for Quantrill because Allen & Ginter have pretentious cardbacks. And also an illustrator drawing Tatis Jr and doesn't draw his dreads is a LAZY bugger.
ReplyDeleteGotta be Tatis!
ReplyDeleteGotta vote Tatis, A&G card backs might be lazy but the entire Bowman brand is lazy in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteTatis.
ReplyDeleteAnother hard choice but will go with the future in Tatis
ReplyDeleteVoting for Tatis.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have plenty of Tatis in this Frankenset. I'm voting for Cal.
ReplyDeleteOne of my card show dreams is to find a set or starter of those Astronaut cards for a reasonable price.
ReplyDeleteOh and Ginter over Bowman every single time.
