For a wealth of reasons Jeremy wins.

Jeremy Hernandez wins in a landslide.  He got all twelve votes cast. You guys came up with some great reasons to vote for Jeremy from having the same name as the voter, the batting glove on Hernandez that I didn't even notice, the angle and advertisements.

Here is today's battle.  It's a three way battle between catcher Brad Ausmus, Cub and Padres third baseman Luis Salazar and Josh Naylor of the Indians.

Remember your vote gets you an entry in the contest after ninety-nine cards are in place.

Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your assistance.

  1. I'm going with the Fleer Salazar. Terrific baseball card.

  3. I'm tempted to vote Salazar because I remember him as a Cub, but I've always been a sucker the Collector's Choice Silver Signatures, and Ausmus is a solid baseball guy. I'll go Ausmus.

  4. Salazar for me! That is what a baseball card is supposed to look like to me.

  6. Variety is the spice of life...or at least a Frankenset. My vote goes to Ausmus.

  7. I will go with the Naylor card since he is now in Cleveland.

  8. Have I mentioned that '85 Fleer Padres cards are phenomenal? Seriously, the Wiggins card is one of my favorites in the whole set.

    Salazar, easily.

  9. Salazar would be the vote here, but if you've been following the pages to date, we all seem to have an affinity toward '85 Fleer. Terry Kennedy from '85 Fleer is already on this page and the previous page had 2 '85 Fleer cards as well. Frankenset's should have a variety to them. That said, I'm going with the Ausmus.

  10. I do take the point of not wanting to overload on one set, but that Salazar is a nice card, so I'm voting for it anyway.

  11. I'll go with Brad Ausmus. He's a CT guy; my 7th grader teacher told me he was one of her students.

  12. Tough call. I love the 2019 Topps and 1985 Fleer designs, but I'll go with Ausmus looking at the ball he just launched.
