the faceless card wins

The team leaders card eked out the win. Six votes to four for Ed Whitson.  After today's battle there will be no more battles until Saturday.  I am declaring a truce in battles until December 26, 2020.

Up next is a battle between a starter, an outfielder and a closer for spot number eighty-two.

Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your assistance.

  1. I wish Flair Showcase cards got more hobby love, so I am going with Brown

  3. It's a shame that Brown only played with the Padres for one season... but oh what a season that was. He seemed untouchable that season... except that one game against Atlanta in the playoffs.

    Anyways... Brown gets my vote.

  5. Yates's strong show of emotion wins the day for me.

  6. Not much of a Flair Showcase fan but Brown gets a nod over Kemp looking very weird in a Padres get-up.

  9. Another tough choice for this spot as well, but I think my vote will go to the Kirby Yates card.

Look forward to more of these battles after Christmas. Have a joyous Christmas!

  10. Voting for Yates today. I'm pretty sure bullpen guys aren't well-represented in most franken-binders.
