Back in 2014 my wife and I attended numerous Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and Hillsboro Hops games to see each team play the Eugene Emeralds. At the time the Ems were the short season rookie league affiliate of the Padres. We would go to the games and set in General Admission on the right field line. In Salem that involves taking a lawn chair and sitting next to a low chain link fence next to the visiting bullpen. I would take pictures before and during the game and make cards out of them. I ended up getting most of the team signed. I am working on a set for this years short season rookie league team the Tri-City Dust Devils. We will be going to Salem at the end of this month to take pictures and make cards and hope to get them signed. I thought I would try and find out where each of the players and coaches in this set were now. Here is the second batch of players.
Logan Jernigan, pitched just the one year and hasn't tweeted in years. Wonder what he does now?
Brandon Fry, has been playing for the New Britain Bees of the Atlantic League since 2016. Playe in 2015 at multiple levels of the Padres organization.
Chase Jensen, played through 2016 in the Padres organization.
Gabe Lazzoro, is currently a strength and conditioning coach in New Jersey.
Griffin Russell, pitched for the organization through 2015 and then pitched for the Texas Air Hogs for two seasons.
Jose Urena, played another season for the Padres and then has been playing in the Mexican League since then. He is pitching for Durango this year.
Max Beatty, played another year in the Padres organization, played some independent ball, then played in the White Sox organization and then more independent ball, nowhere this year. He does have a one day baseball tournament named after him at his high school, Fort Vancouver High, Vancouver, WA.
Michael Miller, played another year in the Padres organization and then played for the Texas Air Hogs in 2016-2017
Miguel Del Castillo, pitched through 2017 in the Padres organization and reaching as high as AAA El Paso.
