Frankenset update 1.31.2020
The top eight cards are from ebay, Kylessportscards and filled in numbers. Look at the really young Randy Wolf. The card at left is my first through the mail card of 2020, Ron Fowler is the executive chairman of the Padres ownership group.

Cooperstown 2020
For the third year I have made my own HOF cards. I was amazed that Derek was not a unanimous pick. Larry Walker deserved to be in with Tony Gwynn.

Frankenset update .1.10.2020
I received three of the five cards ordered to update the Frankenset. At this point I don't have anything to say about the cards other than they fit in number wise. The frankenset page and want list have been updated.

Choose one, two or as many as you like. Each week now I will be adding nine cards to the trade stack. Trade me anything, cards, books, albums. Don't tell me what you are sending me. I want to be surprised.
Thanks for looking.

Gubernatorial Return #12
The Governor of Maryland only took 13 days to sign and return my cards. Governor Hogan was elected in 2014 and again in 2018. His father served in Congress from 1968-1975 and was the first Republican to call for Richard Nixon's impeachment.

Padrographs #1188 & #1189
Both of these are from 2019 Bowman Draft Picks. There is a third draft pick, but CJ Abrams is currently outside my price range.
#1188, Logan Driscoll. Logan was drafted in the second round out of George Mason. He played with the Tri City Dust Devils in 2019. I got to see him in several games against the Salem Keizer Volcanoes last summer. I got him to sign a custom I made of him as part of a team set I made of the Dust Devils.
#1189, Joshua Mears. Josh was also drafted in the second round of the drafted out of Federal Way High School in Washington. He played with the Arizona Padres last summer.
Only eleven more to get to 1200 Padrographs.

Secret Santa nailed it.
I participated in the blogging community Secret Santa this year. Thanks to The Lost Collector for sending me some really cool stuff. It started with a cool bookmark made of a 1989 Topps wax pack wrapper, it has already found a home. Then there was the 1989 cello pack, and an assortment of Padres cards.
To top it all off there were two autographed Padres cards.
To top it all off there were two autographed Padres cards.
A Nick Margevicius RC from a Topps product. Nick only pitched in 17 games for the Padres in 2019, but I have 51 cards of him. I will do a post on all of them.
Thank you Santa.

- The Padres went 81-81 under new manager Dick Williams
- I turned 25
- The Padres drafted Jimmy Jones in the first round.
- Tony Gwynn, Jr is born.

Frankenset update, 1.3.2020
No new cards this week. It has been hectic around the house. Our eight year old granddaughter has been staying with us for about a month and just before Christmas her parents moved in with us also. All three of them and my wife and I have had bad colds for several days each. Plus things were strange with the holidays in the middle of the week. I just ordered some more cards for the set today, so hopefully they will be here by next Friday.
